Common Questions
The Atlas features a modern design with vertical heater slots and optional integrated red-light therapy benches — perfect for residential or commercial wellness spaces, typically 1–4 people. The Sierra features a classic window-pane design emphasizing craftsmanship and visibility — ideal for traditionalists and larger 2–6 person installations. Both feature VantaWave® heaters, our in-house power systems, and smart Wi-Fi controls.
The Sierra™ is fully custom — there is no fixed size. We've built Sierra saunas from intimate 2-person rooms to large 6-person commercial installations. The classic window-pane design scales beautifully to larger formats. Just tell us your dimensions and we'll take it from there.
All Sierra saunas require a dedicated 240V circuit. Amperage depends on size — typically 30A for smaller builds and up to 60A for larger configurations. We provide full electrical plans with every build so your electrician knows exactly what to run before delivery. Every system is fully NEC-compliant.
Most Sierra builds ship within 7–11 weeks of final design approval. Lead time varies slightly by size and customization. Your sauna ships via ground freight on a liftgate truck — you'll receive tracking information, and the carrier will call two days before delivery to schedule your drop-off window.
Clear-grade Western Red Canadian Cedar, kiln-dried. No veneers or plywood — solid cedar that naturally resists bacteria, mold, and warping. Every board is hand-selected for color and grain consistency.
We don't provide direct installation services, but we make the process as smooth as possible. Every Sierra ships with detailed, step-by-step assembly instructions and full electrical drawings. Most customers complete installation with a general contractor or competent DIYer in 1–3 days. Our support team is available by phone and text throughout.
Most sauna companies buy generic power supplies and control boards from overseas — and that's where most failures start. At SaunaCloud, we design and manufacture our own power supplies, PCBs, and Wi-Fi-enabled control systems. Vertical integration gives us total control over reliability, consistency, precision, and speed. No other sauna company in North America manufactures its own power systems or app.
No. All VantaWave® heaters, red-light systems, and power supplies are ultra-low EMF and zero ELF. Wiring is shielded and grounded throughout.
Every Sierra™ comes with a limited lifetime warranty covering structure, heaters, and electrical components. Commercial installations are covered for 1 year. We've been building custom saunas since 2014 and we stand behind every sauna we ship.
