SaunaCloud® products are classified as General Wellness products, not medical devices, as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Our infrared saunas and red light therapy systems are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Before you use

Infrared heat is not right for everyone. Ask your physician or other qualified clinician before use if any of the following apply. This is not a complete medical list.

Pregnancy or nursing
Prescription medication
Heart or cardiovascular conditions
A pacemaker, defibrillator, or implant
A reduced ability to sweat
Use by children or older adults
Sensitivity or insensitivity to heat

If you feel light-headed or dizzy, leave the sauna. Stay hydrated. Owners can read the fuller Health and Safety notes in the customer portal.

Consult your clinician

You should consult with your physician or qualified healthcare provider before using any SaunaCloud product, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, take prescription medication, or have concerns about how infrared heat or red light therapy may affect your health. Do not use an infrared sauna as a substitute for medical treatment.
